Newfoundland & Labrador: A Sea of Change

Client: Memorial University

When Memorial University was looking to create an interactive kiosk exhibit at Bonne Bay Marine Research Station (in lovely Gros Morne National Park) they chose The Pixel Shop.

We challenged ourselves to create a solution that went beyond the brief. We expanded the kiosk’s reach by creating an iOS app to power the kiosk, and making the app available to iPad users across Canada, and the world. By using standard web technologies, the app content is also to users without iPads.

But an interpretive exhibit isn’t just about a kiosk. We also designed a full wall mural, as well as other environmental graphics (decal, banner stand) to “frame” the exhibit.

Newfoundland & Labrador: A Sea of Change is available on Apple’s App Store.
